Ella's Birthday Party

Olivia and I were invited to Ella's 3rd Birthday Party this year.  Lee and I went to her 1st birthday party when I was a month away from having Olivia!  Remember these cuties?  We had the best time at the "Thomas the Train" themed party!  Leslie did such an incredible job with all the decorations and the games the kids played.  What fun it was!

Olivia was slightly tired after all the fun!

St. Patrick's Day

We didn't do anything special for St. Patrick's Day, but Olivia did get to spend the night with Grandma and Grandpa the night before and got to play with Adam the next day!  When I went to pick her up on Saturday, she and Adam were having the best time!

Grandpa's Birthday Party

Recently my dad celebrated a birthday.  As usual, the family got together for a really nice dinner.  Mom made a turkey dinner, fit for Thanksgiving!  It was wonderful!  Not many pictures were taken but I did manage to snap a few of Grandpa with his favorite little ones!

John W. Ripley Memorial

On March 2nd, a dedication of the John W. Ripley Memorial took place at the Marine Corps Museum in Quantico, VA.  It was a rainy and pretty chilly day, but it was an amazing event.  Olivia was a trooper and hung in there for the ceremony and a walk through the museum.  Here are a few pictures from the day.  You can see all the pictures Lee took here.

What a wonderful event and a great dinner at Maureen and Andy's afterwards!  Olivia even rode on Adam's rocking horse which she was SO afraid of a few months ago!

Great day!

Valentine's Day

You may remember, Lee and I don't celebrate Valentine's Day (you can read up on why here), so I tend to forget that Valentine's Day is even coming.  So, I wasn't really prepared to send any treats or cards or anything to school with Olivia.  I know, bad mommy.  I will be prepared next year!  I did put her in a festive Valentine's Day outfit and daddy took pictures of us that evening!  O wasn't totally interested in having her picture taken, but you get the idea!

Hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Super Bowl Party

This year we decided to keep the Super Bowl low key.  We invited Mark over for burgers, beer and football.  Olivia got ready for the big game by wearing her best NFL gear!  Granted, she wasn't wearing Patriots OR Giants gear, but she is a smart girl!

Isn't she adorable?

New Hair

Ok ok ok......I realize I haven't blogged in FOREVER.  I know I got a new camera and should be blogging up a storm, so I will try to do better!

At the end of January, I had a hair appointment and decided to do something a bit different!

Took a while to get used to, but I love it!
